In this episode we discuss what led him to manufacture arms with the passage in Michigan of the ability to use certain straight walled cartridges in the southern part of the state verse the normal shotgun only. The 450 Bushmaster cartridge was the first mass cartridge in use and the start of Brenton arms.
As a lifelong hunter and reloader, Bartt wanted to build functional hunting rifles, using cartridges that took advantage of the Modern Sporting Rifle platform.
